January 20, 2007, brought together 30 volunteers comprised of Starbucks employees
and customers, Skagit Parks Foundation board members and Skagit
Parks and Recreation staff to do flood repair on the beach and
volleyball court at Clear Lake Park. All the beach sand needed to be
pulled away from the sidewalk and worked back down to the waters
edge on the beach. The volleyball court needed the sand pulled away
from the edge as well as bush trimming around the border.
